Volume Index of Wholesale & Retail Trade Third Quarter 2019

Volume index of Wholesale & Retail Trade registered an increase of 6% to 132 points in the third quarter of 2019 as compared to the same period last year. The growth was spearheaded by Retail Trade with 7.8%.

As for seasonally adjusted volume index, it rose 2.9% as against the second quarter of 2019. Wholesale Trade and Retail Trade recorded a positive growth of 3.6% and 3.3% respectively.
