The volume index of Wholesale & Retail Trade grew by 1.4 per cent quarter-on-quarter in the fourth quarter of 2020. The growth was supported by Wholesale Trade and Retail Trade which rose 3.5 per cent and 1.4 per cent respectively. On the other hand, Motor Vehicles sub-sector experienced a fall in this quarter to record a growth of -6.1 per cent. In overall, the volume index of Wholesale & Retail Trade slipped -6.2 per cent, the slowest growth since the record begins to achieve 1 2 1.5 points in 2020.
As for seasonally adjusted volume index, it went up 1.3 per cent as compared to a precedent quarter.
