Talent Development Programme to Recruit, Retain and Improve the Quality of Human Capital in the Retail and F&B Sub-sector

The RFBPN under the purview of Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) was established in 2017 with the objective to raise productivity. Four initiatives were singled out and MRA been identified to lead Initiative R3 – Strengthen Retail and F&B Competencies. MRA Honorary Treasurer Mr. Kamal Kumar Kamdar was the Project Leader of this initiative.

For 2019, RFBPN R3 has decided to undertake a study to develop a Talent Development Programme which aims at improving the recruitment and retention of human capital. Interviews with the key industry players and validation workshop were organised.  Subsequently the “Guidebook on Talent Development Programme to Recruit, Retain and Improve the Quality of Human Capital in the Retail and F&B Sub-sector” was developed.
